Job Overview
Transform treasury reporting and data architecture by designing, automating, and delivering actionable insights for front-office treasury activities. This role prioritizes the creation of centralized data infrastructure and automated reporting templates, with a preference for candidates who have prior corporate front-office treasury exposure. The successful candidate will drive data-driven decision-making through robust SQL databases, Power BI, and automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Take initiative in creating Power BI report templates that deliver meaningful insights to key stakeholders.
- Design and build a centralized SQL database to consolidate treasury data.
- Develop and maintain macro-based automation to streamline recurring treasury reports.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data models, dashboards, and automated processes.
- Produce and maintain analytical data, statistics, and documentation to support treasury presentations, audits, and external disclosures, with emphasis on front-office needs.
- Stay current with best practices in SQL, Power BI, Excel modelling, and automation techniques; recommend process improvements and tooling enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Requires 6-8+ years of strong technical reporting and automation skills (required).
- Strong proficiency with SQL databases and Power BI (required).
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced spreadsheeting and modelling (required).
- Experience in automating reporting using macros, Python, or VB for end-to-end processes.
- Proficiency in Python or Visual Basic (preferred).
- Prior corporate front-office treasury experience (preferred).
