Job Overview
- Three recent initiatives have demanded increased Plant Status Control staffing beyond current regular staffing resources. These initiatives that need to be completed are Harsh Equipment Tags Upgrade (over 3000 devices pending), Bumping Campaign (Velcro Straps/Acrylic Covers/Installation of Barriers and Stanchions), and Temporary to Permanent Tag Surveillance, disposition, and correction. These are special initiatives, not ongoing regular work.
- Working towards completing these initiatives will ensure adequate protection of equipment and will align Darlington Plant Status Control with industry best practices.
- Working in Darlington Operations Support, specifically Plant Status Control.
- Will often be working in the station at Darlington, examining tagging and walking down flowsheets and specific areas. Provide support and advice on Operations issues.
- Using Operating Experience and Knowledge of industry best practices, identify, analyze, and prioritize deficiencies, particularly in the area of Plant Status Control.
Qualifications
- CANDU Operations experience required.
- Darlington Non-Licensed Operations Experience considered an asset.
