Job Overview

  • OPG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP SuccessFactors Functional Lead to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our technology and HR systems team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP SuccessFactors solutions to meet our business needs. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of HR processes, extensive experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules, and a proven track record of architecting and implementing successful solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture: Develop a business model with OPG stakeholders supported by SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Benefits, Onboarding, Payroll)
  • Design and architect SAP SuccessFactors solutions with our vendor partner, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide expertise in optimizing and customizing SuccessFactors modules to meet specific business requirements.
  • Implementation and Integration: Support the end-to-end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, and others.
  • Document any selected program settings and preparing guidelines for teams that may edit the software in the future.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SuccessFactors with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Requirement Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for successful implementation.
  • Ensure the system meets client expectations and specifications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business stakeholders to understand their HR processes and requirements, providing expert guidance on best practices and system capabilities.
  •  Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
  • Testing system’s performance and efficiency
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring a smooth transition to new SAP SuccessFactors functionalities.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including system configuration, processes, and user guides.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Provide expertise and knowledge of latest SAP SuccessFactors updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously improve system functionality and performance.

 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Human Resources.

Experience

  • Significant experience (typically 5-8 years or more) working with SAP SuccessFactors modules, with a focus on Employee Central, Benefits, Onboarding, and Payroll.
  • Proven track record of successfully architecting and implementing SAP SuccessFactors solutions.
  • Experience in end-to-end implementation of HR systems and integration with other enterprise systems.

Technical Skills

  • In-depth understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules and their customization capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with business stakeholders and internal/external teams.
  • Ability to provide expert guidance on best practices and system capabilities.

Certifications

  • Relevant certifications in SAP SuccessFactors or related areas and asset
