Job Overview
- Perform maintenance support for the Atikokan mechanical maintenance crew.
- Perform project support for mechanical projects at the Atikokan station. Includes project initiation reports, technical specifications and technical assistance as needed.
- Perform asset management activities for the Atikokan station including life extension for equipment.
- Provide support for the Operations group at the Atikokan station. This includes writing procedures and advising on the operation of various equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum four years’ experience in the manufacturing or power plant operations.
- Prefer experience in thermal power plants.
- Familiarity with relevant Canadian Codes and standards including TSSA Regulations.
- Worker should have experience at a Power Plant at the Engineering Level as well as their P.Eng.
