Job Overview

  • Attend daily, weekly, or as-needed team meetings to create action logs and track progress against schedule
  • Assign tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Keep an updated risk register and create plans to address potential risks.
  • Monitor and adjust risk mitigation efforts as needed.
  • Report project status regularly to leads and integrated team leads using the standard template.
  • Provide updates to senior leadership on project progress and any issues.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Business Development, or a related field. Skills:
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex situations, identify potential issues, and propose effective solutions. Project Management: Ability to track progress, manage tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present key information clearly and concisely to executive leadership.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills to maintain action logs, risk registers, and schedules. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze issues and find solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to create accurate reports and track project milestones.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience:

  • Project Coordination: Experience in a project coordination or support role, preferably within commercial development, engineering, finance, or business development.
  • Reporting: Experience preparing status reports for leadership or senior management.
  • Cross-functional Teamwork: Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. Stakeholder Interaction: Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels of an organization.
