Job Overview

Lead and administer the organization, coordination and execution of assigned project(s) within multidiscipline project portfolios. Lead matrix project execution teams. Coordinate and be responsible for project documentation. Ensure appropriate Project Management and Contract Management governance is followed.

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the organization, coordination, and execution of projects from initiation to closeout.
  • Utilize proven project management methodologies (e.g., phase-gating, scope management, schedule control) to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to matrixed project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring all necessary information is captured and readily available.
  • Oversee contract management functions, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively developing and implementing mitigation plans.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of progress and potential challenges.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices in project management, construction, and budgeting.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in project management technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, leading and delivering complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including the 5 primary project phases (Identification, Initiation, Definition, Execution, Closeout).
  • Proven ability to manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • PMP certification (preferred).
