The Head of Electrification Solutions will oversee the development of major electrical projects from concept up to execution.
A key player on the management team, you are responsible for leading a team developing energy solutions for large business and institutional customers including electric vehicle charging, battery storage, solar PV and power generation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead development of early-stage project concepts, cost estimation and proposal development based on client needs and site conditions.
- Provide support to the commercial sales team on outreach, and assist with sales efforts.
- Work with clients to develop electric vehicle adoption roadmaps
- Oversee and manage engineering and technical analysis, including management of consultants, advisors, and coordination with clients and external agencies.
- Make recommendations on growth opportunities for the business by conducting technical, financial, and commercial analyses of potential opportunities.
- Lead innovation projects to ensure the company stays at the forefront of the industry.
- Build and maintain integrity and confidence, communicate with external clients and internal team members.
- Stay abreast of new technologies in the electrification space and provide external thought leadership by attending and participating in conferences and forums.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University Degree in Engineering or related field.
- MBA is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in project development, project management, commercial operations and strategic development.
- Strong technical knowledge of EV charging, battery storage and other electrical equipment as well as energy management systems.
- Strong business acumen to develop profitable projects, conceptualize new business opportunities and contribute to the company’s business strategy.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and leadership skills to motivate your team.
