Derek Mori is a founding partner and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of CPUS Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. and Canadian Power Utility Services Limited, a consulting engineering company, both serving the power industry. Derek is an experienced senior engineering executive with strong business and management skills in the provision of engineering consulting services to the power industry.
He has worked in the Canadian nuclear industry for more than 29 years and has held many senior management positions in both government and private sectors.
Derek Mori graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering, with a specialization in Nuclear Engineering, in 1989. Derek started his career at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) as a Nuclear Safety Analyst, where he held numerous roles. After 10 years with AECL, he transitioned to become Vice President of Marketing at Canadian Nuclear Utility Services, a division of Canatom NPM Inc. (now known as SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.). Presently, Derek is responsible for securing new business opportunities and the overall operations and management of both CPUS Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. and CPUS Limited.
