Job Overview

Support the development and review of I&C designs for nuclear plant systems and modifications

– Prepare technical specifications, calculations, drawings and engineering documentation

– Review schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic and instrumentation documents

– Assist with equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting

– Ensure engineering work complies with applicable codes, standards and client requirements

– Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering, project and site teams

– Provide technical support throughout the design and project lifecycle

– Participate in design reviews and help resolve technical issues

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline

– 5+ years I&C engineering or design experience, preferably within the nuclear industry

– DE and DTL qualifications will be an asset

– Familiarity with nuclear engineering processes, design documentation and plant-modification requirements

– Strong analytical, technical writing and problem-solving skills

– Ability to work effectively with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams

– Excellent communication and organizational skills
