Job Overview:
MS Excel & Power BI:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Microsoft Excel workbooks, worksheets, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business planning, reporting, and decision-making.
- Analyze and understand existing spreadsheet architectures, formulas, macros, data connections, and reporting processes to ensure modifications are implemented without disrupting current functionality.
- Overhaul, modernize, and optimize legacy Excel workbooks while preserving critical business logic, calculations, data integrity, and user requirements.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing Excel solutions, resolving issues related to formulas, VBA code, data validation, linked workbooks, and automated reporting processes.
- Develop advanced Excel solutions using complex formulas, Power Query, Power Pivot, dynamic arrays, pivot tables, VBA, and automation techniques.

Project Monitoring & Control:
- Perform/Support project controls activities by developing and maintaining project schedules, cost forecasts, and performance reports throughout the project lifecycle Change Management:
- Perform/Support project controls and change management activities by maintaining project cost and schedule baselines, ensuring compliance with approved change control processes, and preparing required change documentation.
Cost & Schedule Quality:
- Maintain/Support accurate project cost and schedule information throughout all phases of project
- execution including reconciling data across financial and project controls systems to support effective project planning, execution, and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced knowledge of VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and spreadsheet automation.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and DAX calculations.
- Ability to reverse-engineer, maintain, and enhance highly complex existing spreadsheets and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience integrating data from ERP, scheduling, financial, project controls, or enterprise systems.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
