Job Overview
- Provide field oversight of construction activities for various projects within the protected area and station.
- The majority of the time will be spent in the station.
- Attend project and vendor/contractor pre job meetings as directed.
- Complete walk downs, provide coaching, and inputs to the observation and coaching database.
- Provide problem solving support to vendors and stakeholders to resolve safety, quality, technical, schedule, and productivity issues.
- Be an integrated member or the project team and refurbishment program.
- Review and understand project schedules and support the schedule Look Ahead process.
- Early start time is required per vendor work schedules and occasional weekend coverage may be required.
Qualifications
- Nuclear security clearance
- 3 yrs experience in construction oversight or supervision and/or field work coordination, preferably in the nuclear or energy generation field.
- Proficiency with our client’s Work Protection, Work Authorization and Work Management (scheduling) processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with our client’s nuclear processes and tools (e.g. AS9, Work Orders, Work Assessing) is preferred.
- Self-starter who can work with little supervision.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to establish collaborative working relationships with vendors and co-workers.
